The Invincible Warriors of IO: An interesting start

It seems that this has become a tradition to heat up the Google search engine every Friday, scrolling for a wise quote to start this article… Here is today’s:

“The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight.” Carly Fiorina

Or, read below, because this week in the Invincible Warriors of IO we present our Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst – Kiril Kiryazov.

Kiril was born and raised in Sofia, initially studying at the National High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics “Acad. Lyubomir Chakalov ”, later graduates with a BA degree in Computer Science and a MS in Artificial Intelligence at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and last but not least Licentiate in Cognitive Robotics – Linköping University, Sweden, where he lived for 5 years. Well, what a start, dear readers … Artificial Intelligence? Cool right? However, let’s add that from an early age he loved to play computer games. Don’t wonder then what brought him to the Imperial family.

As a true fan of Yuri Gagarin, he also wanted to become an astronaut. And now? Now he just wants Friday … Kiril works in various companies and universities, mainly in the field of robotics, but also with cars and computer games. Well, he also worked outside of his education, as an assistant luthier and telescope operator. He enjoys doing interesting and complex things. He came to the Imperial Family back in 2015, and we couldn’t help but ask our favorite question “What do you like most about the company?”. Well, we were not very surprised this time either, because the 1st thing in the ranking is the team of professionals he works with. He likes his job, especially the part because he works in a field related to games. And won’t you say something about the awesome banitsa we have…?

Let’s take a look at his hobbies and interests so you don’t think he’s just working. Some of his hobbies include watching movies and reading books. Exceptional sportsmanship, but hardly anyone will be surprised, given his active participation in various initiatives over the years. Wow, if you had seen him at the Postbank Business Run, the other participants had no chance against him… Besides running, he also likes mountaineering, cycling, swimming, tennis and last but not least – computer and board games. A short break to catch our breath…

If you’re wondering where he’s traveled around the world, the list is quite long, but there are still places he dreams of visiting, such as India and South America. Kiril, don’t forget when you go to tag yourself on Facebook, that’s how we heard it’s fashionable… Otherwise, colleagues will wonder why you didn’t log in to work.
